About
If you're searching for a dining experience that seamlessly blends the art of sushi and the warmth of hot pot, look no further than 65 Kuho Sushi Hot Pot, a hidden gem located at 1701 65th St, Brooklyn, NY 11204. This vibrant establishment offers a unique all-you-can-eat (AYCE) menu that caters to both sushi enthusiasts and hot pot lovers alike.
Upon entering, you're welcomed into a clean and organized space—an inviting relief compared to many other hot pot venues that may leave much to be desired in terms of ambiance. The service here is noteworthy; the staff is attentive, ensuring that your broth is regularly topped off and your dining experience is pleasant. As one satisfied customer, Kevin Liu, puts it, the location's cleanliness enhances the overall enjoyment of the meal.
Highlighting their offerings, the hot pot is where 65 Kuho truly shines. According to patrons, the meat quality is exceptional, and the variety is vast. The Japanese dashi-style broth, although subjectively interpreted, infuses the dining experience with comforting flavors that will keep you returning for more. However, a few reviews mention that certain items, like their sushi, occasionally miss the mark on freshness—an aspect that appears to vary with management and time. Yet, many customers still find the sushi to be a satisfactory complement to their hot pot.
The ability to customize your hot pot experience—choosing from an assortment of meats and fresh vegetables—is a highlight that excites many visitors. Do keep in mind, however, that diners should be familiar with the hot pot process, as the staff will not guide you through it, creating a fun challenge for seasoned patrons. One reviewer, Enoghene Ajueyitsi, emphasizes this aspect and praises the fresh ingredients that elevate the experience.
Whether it's the delightful broth or the circulatory buffet of options, 65 Kuho Sushi Hot Pot promises a satisfying meal. Enhanced by the restaurant's new management committed to quality, it stands as a reliable choice in the area. Clean bathrooms and a straightforward dining setting round out the experience, making this spot a worthy addition to your food journey. Come hungry and ready to explore the harmonious blend of sushi and hot pot, and enjoy a culinary adventure that is both comforting and exciting!
“ Nice hotpot place to eat at. It's very clean and it doesn't smell too strong here like other hotpot places. The meat was very good quality and the broth was nice and they always made sure to top us off. Note it's all you can eat so there's so much variety! ”
“ The setting n vibe is nothing special, but it’s clean so that’s good. We ordered the AYCE sushi and hot pot. The hot pot meats and veggies are fresh. The sushi wasn’t spoiled but wasn’t fresh either. The rice was a bit dry and hard. After about 30 minutes of leaving the sushi out on our plates while eating hot pot, the fish even tasted fishy. The bathrooms are clean. And have a better setting n vibe to relieve yourself. ”
“ Hey party people, back with another Blackman review. (Lol) Staff was amazing, fast, responsive and kind. House sake decent. Got the hotpot Japanese dashi style. (Not an accurate flavor but damn good regardless.) just make sure you know how to hotpot if you come here. They won’t do it for you. My only take back was that the meat came out frozen. Otherwise an experience I’d recommend to everyone from anywhere. Come and enjoy! (added to the green book) ”
“ We had AYCE hot pot plus sushi. Soup base is tasty and foods are fresh. Services are excellent. We heard that the restaurant is under new management now and they are dedicated to providing better service and food quality for all customers. Definitely worth to come back. ”
“ I really liked the atmosphere, the kitchen, and the service. The food is fresh and delicious. I recommend it. ”
“ This is hands down the best hot pot place in the neighborhood. We’ve been coming here for years and it’s our favorite dinner place to go to. The service is great and the waiters are very attentive. The food is fresh and we love their chrysanthemum tea. Highly recommended! ”
“ It’s a great place with great service and unlimited sushi, what more can you ask for and the price is great. Come here it’s a nice neighborhood joint. Support your local business ”
“ i only order takeout here. food is nothing special imo but always tasty and cheap. the way they pack food is super nice, like the boxes are stacked neatly and never sticky and they always include utensils and napkins which i really appreciate. wait time for takeout can be incredibly long sometimes so call ahead but hey, busy is a good sign!!! ”
